RYA Level 1 – Introduction to Powerboating, Boat Handling North Wales
This course is an introduction to boating handling, the basic course is ideal for children aged 8 to 12 years old.
We will cover a range of boat handling skills to get the students competent to use a boat under supervision of an adult. The course is ideal for a group of family and friends to get there children competent on a small boat.

Course content:
Launch and recovery (8-11 year olds observe).
Preparation of boat and crew, boat handling, picking up and securing to a mooring buoy, leaving and coming alongside, being towed
Ability after the course:
Able to drive under supervision.

8. Candidates under the age of 16 will be issued with an endorsed certificate.
